Carl Moores - Chairman, Board of Directors
|
Carl Moores, Principal and Chairman of the Board of F.W. Bryce, Inc., proudly traces his roots and professional ideals to the island of Newfoundland, one of the world’s most famous and productive fishing centers since the 1500’s.

Stationed in Boston to oversee the introduction of frozen cod fillets in block form into the U.S. market in the early 1950’s, Carl and his contemporaries were the pioneers of a new and exciting chapter in international trade, and served as founding fathers for the seafood business as we experience it today.
Carl authored the strategy of providing US marketing and financing expertise to the world’s wet fish producers, giving access to, and a compelling business strategy for, the exploitation of business opportunities laying wait in the rich markets of North America. Known worldwide for uncompromised candor and honesty, Carl has adhered to his commitment to excellence and professionalism by insisting on hiring employees, and working with packer base partners, who command respect while embracing the notion that integrity must always be the touchstone of any business transaction.
Carl’s devotion to his family, both at work and away, guarantee that the spirit of F.W. Bryce, Inc. will maintain its presence and posture in our evolving industry.
