Custom Production F. W. Bryce, Inc. proudly operates a 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art custom production facility adjacent to its cold storage warehouse. In this licensed HACCP-compliant production space we customize and private label our products to further serve the needs of our customers. All equipment is multi-functional and designed to give us the maximum flexibility, as production lines are constantly being re-engineered to address the specialized needs of our customers and their products. H.A.C.C.P. Our operations are required by law to comply with 21 CFR Ch. 1 Part 110 (H.A.C.C.P.) in three different ways: 1) As an importer of frozen seafood; 2) As a domestic producer of frozen seafood in our Custom Production facility; 3) And as a frozen seafood warehouse. Therefore, extensive HACCP plans and protocols were drafted and are continuously updated in order to ensure both compliance with the law and regulation, as well as in order to ensure that our customers receive the very finest seafood products possible. HACCP compliance for Chinese production facilities is managed by Yanling Li from her office in the Peoples Republic of China. Quality Assurance The F.W. Bryce emphasis on quality is never more apparent than when considering the importance placed on our quality assurance function. Not only do we closely monitor the quality function at the facilities of each of our producers, but we maintain our own independent QA department designed to give peace of mind to our customers that their product is always “on specification”. The range of quality criteria extends from verification of proper packaging and printing…all the way through organoleptic and microbiologic analysis. Lots are sampled pro-actively for compliance with detailed grading and sizing specifications. Quality Assurance representatives conduct their field examinations at cold storages all over eastern Massachusetts.
